Oak Leaves is an original block print originally created as a paper cut out and then drawn out on a silk screen by hand: the directness and energy of the original scissor marks are still to be seen. The motif references Matisse's paper cut outs. The vegetable oil based ink is hand mixed and printed onto a matte 90gsm cream paper.
