Birch is a living material and should be cared for to ensure longevity. Before first use, we recommend oiling the surface thoroughly with a food grade oil, such as cold pressed linseed oil or standard cooking oil. Repeat three to five times until the board is fully saturated. Reapply occasionally to prevent drying and cracking.
